LAUNCH today announced the rollout of its all-new Split-Screen feature for the X-431 diagnostic tablets, bringing true system-level multitasking to the X-431 scan tool lineup. The feature is now supported on the LAUNCH X-431 PAD9 LINK V1, X-431 PAD9 LINK V2 and X-431 PAD5 LINK V5.

The new Split-Screen capability divides the display into two independent operating zones, allowing two applications or two functions within the X-431 app to run simultaneously on a single screen. Whether it's splitting functions inside the X-431 app or running a second app alongside an active diagnostic session, technicians can now diagnose, verify and reference repair data side by side, without switching screens. The result is a dramatically faster, more fluid workflow in the bay.
